MODULAR FILTER UNITS WITH AUTOMATIC BACKFLUSHING

  • TIMEX SVF Series are sophisticated, yet easy-to-operate, automatic filters, with an electric self-cleaning mechanism. The “SVF” filters range in flow-rates of up to 7200 m³/h (31700 US gpm), with screens designed ranging from 800-10 micron filtration degree. Inlet/Outlet flanges are available from 8″-36″ diameter.

CARTRIDGE FILTERS

  • Quality filtration systems require both quality housings and quality filter cartridges. TIMEX Housings have been specifically designed to meet the scale-up requirements of different industries for efficient filtration with special attention given to the materials of construction, durability, ease-of-use and quality control.

SIEVE FILTERS

  • The StrainLine comprises pipeline protection sieves, strainers, sieve baskets and sieve cylinder filters for the separation of rough impurities out of liquids with the aim to protect downstream parts of the installation.

FULLY AUTOMATIC BACKFLUSH FILTER

  • Self-cleaning, maintenance-free filter for the filtration of liquids.The backflush filter can be used for the filtration of:

    • Cooling and service water
    • Surface and waste water 
    • Hydrocarbon liquids 
    • Emulsions 

DEEP BED FILTRATION SYSTEMS

  • Automatic Operating Fine Filtration SystemsThe fluid is filtered by a packed bed such as filter sand, anthracite, activated carbon or special media. There is also the possibility to use different filter media or diverse grain sizes of the same material in horizontal layers for optimal result for the specific application. During filtration the flow inside of the vessel is from the top towards the bottom. Solids and other undesired content are adsorbed at the inner surface of the packed bed. Filtration fineness is approximately 10 – 20 μm in most cases. In some cases a fineness of below 2 μm can be achieved. Depending on the application, the packed bed is either automatically regenerated regularly by backpurging with clean liquid and air or it is just replaced after a certain operation time. In most cases, several filters are installed in parallel, in order to ensurea continuous filtration output even when one of the filters is in backwash or undergoing maintenance.
